Once Upon a Time - Letter #1
Last week I launched my weekly letter. This project has been a while in the making, but I finally happy with the content and design. Join me each week as I share stories, inspiring quotes, book reviews and recommendations and story writing prompts, to help you write your own stories.
Over the next four weeks, I'll be sharing part of this newsletter so you can get a small taste of what's included. After that, the only way you'll get to read the content is if you sign up!
Sign up now, to receive this straight into your inbox, every Thursday. I'd love to know what you think, please get in touch and let me know.
Dear Friend,You are incredible and powerful and completely capable of living the exact life you’ve always imagined. This letter will drop into your inbox every Thursday. When you reach that point at the end of the week - when the weekend is within touching distance but you need that little extra push to pull you through, because Friday afternoon still seems weeks away and because everyone loves to receive letters. My Friend, this letter is just for you…
- To give you encouragement
- To give you hope
- To give you motivation
- To give you ideas and to help you dream
- To give you the complete confidence that other people feel just like you do.
And finally, this letter is written to empower you to write down your own stories, to share your very own ‘once upon a time’ and perhaps even give you the courage to start some new chapters and tell some new stories...Through these letters we are going to build a community of storytellers and through writing and telling our stories, we are going to learn to live better stories.
Are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin with this week's once upon a time...
Friend, Once Upon a time, I used to believe I didn't have very interesting stories to tell.
I'm now learning that everyone has such a special and unique view of the world. No one else experiences the world as you do, no one else has seen the sunset the same way you have. We all have such beautiful stories within us, we owe it to the world to set them free. The world is waiting for you to tell your storyI'm not sure where we got the idea from that we don't have anything interesting to say? The idea that our lives aren't 'exciting enough' or 'story worthy' but the only way to start living the life you've always dreamed of, is realising that beauty is in the details and so much of what we want, we already have. We just need to talk about it, to write about it, we have to start telling our story.Love,Laura
